| Marcal River Clean Up In Honor of 40th Earth Day
On April 21, 2010, over 100 Marcal employees teamed up to clean the Passaic River as a testament to Marcal’s commitment to a greener Earth. After 8 hours of hard work the team collected over 7 tons of garbage. |

| Earth Day Shredding Party at Marcal
On April 22, 2010, Marcal held a public event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Marcal and the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Local residents had the opportunity to learn what Marcal does on a day-to-day basis and shred their old tax forms, magazines and junk mail for recycling. At the end of the day Marcal donated trees to the local community, which were accepted by Elmwood Park Mayor Mola. |
At the Earth Day event, Marcal introduced a new recycling bin on site for local community residents to bring their paper for recycling. |

| George Washington Bridge Challenge
On June 22, 2010,one-hundred Marcal employees, families & friends took a “Small Step” towards helping the American Cancer Society. The team raised more than $7,200 for the 2010 George Washington Bridge Challenge. |

| Kids Run 2, Rockland Lake State Park, NY
On June 12, 2010, Marcal and New York’s Rockland Lake State Park played host to more than 2,000 students, teachers and parents at Kids Run 2, a two-mile fun run and walk that got kids off the couch and on their feet. Members of 17 participating PTA’s from Clarktown and Nyack school districts cheered kids on as they crossed the finish line. As an event Gold Sponsor, Marcal handed out the grand prize – a field trip for a school’s entire class to Marcal’s recycling and manufacturing plant. |
